Time for Refreshing Summer Cocktails!

Hello All!  We hope that you’ve been enjoying summer by kicking back with a delicious beverage or two.  We’ve been very busy with weddings, reunions, and all sorts of corporate events, but we thought we’d take a little breather to talk about some of the fun specialty cocktails and mocktails we’ve created so far this season.

We were honored to provide mocktail bar service for Mary Crafts and Rick Homer’s July wedding.  For this event, we came up with three fun and fruity mocktails, which were a hit with the guests.  Our bartenders made each one individually to order, but you could also mix up a big batch for a family reunion, bridal shower, or any other summer party.  One of the evening’s favorites was Citron Cooler, a refreshing blend of equal parts lemonade, orange juice, and ginger ale.

Also in July, we were excited to be involved in four different events for the National Governors’ Association annual conference that was held in Utah this year.  For each of the parties, we featured a different signature cocktail with a Utah tie-in.  For a VIP reception at the fabulous new Utah Museum of Natural History, we served a Peachy Keen – a sparkling blend of local distillery High West’s Peach Vodka 7000 (made with fresh Utah peaches), orange juice, and prosecco.  The ‘Picnic In The Garden’ event at Red Butte featured a refreshing Bear Lake Raspberry Mojito.  YUM!  For the ‘Live From The Hive’ party at the Olympic Sports Park, we offered a ‘hard’ lemonade using High West Rendezvous Rye.  And for the grand finale, guests at the NGC After-Party were treated to a twist on a Utah specialty – Green Jello Shots!
